Agnes.

First off, a huge thank you all of my lovely blog readers who have supported The Happy Goat’s indiegogo campaign.  We are so close to reaching our goal and we could not have made it this far without you.  THANK YOU!  If you are still thinking of contributing and nabbing some chicken, cheese or yarn for yourself there are 20 days to go in the campaign.

agnes

I’ve been wearing my agnes sweater pretty much non-stop since I finished it.  It’s just the thing to keep me warm in the chilly farmhouse.  And during my upcoming voyage to Prince George in the northern part of our province.  Anyone have any snowshoeing tips?

I consider it a house sweater more than anything.  I don’t think it’s the most flattering garment, due to it being made out of bulky yarn.  My first confirmation of this was when Cory was taking the photos of me and he suggested I suck in my stomach.  I already was.

The beret is Hannah Fettig’s early morning beret, made out of leftover primo worsted from the baby blanket I made over the summer.

It’s lovely- and definitely looks great on you for all the supposed tummy-sucking-in ;) I thought about making this one but it really would make me look huge. Then again, sometimes I think I worry too much about whether a design will look good… Sometimes I just love something so much that I wear it anyway!

PS I’m loving all the colour you’ve been using recently too…

Kirsten ~ thanks for the link….your total raised just went up a bit ;)

I’m the proud new future owner of some of your sock yarn (hooray!)

and the sweater looks great ~ I WISH my husband would tell me that I need to suck things in when he takes my knitting photos ~ maybe they would turn out half as gorgeous as your FO pics alway look!

This sweater is a must have! Perfect for chilly nights and brisk walks. I can’t wait to make one for myself. I just love the contrasting pockets!
